Singapore's first immersive arts venue with towering projections at Gardens by the Bay.

IMBA Theatre is Singapore's first dedicated venue for large-scale immersive art and culture, opened in 2026 on the West Lawn at Gardens by the Bay. Spanning over 80,000 square feet, the space combines two state-of-the-art black box theatres with a major gallery, a curated retail store, and a wellness dining concept called Realm Cafe.

The headline attraction is a 12.5-metre-high projection wall—one of the largest in Southeast Asia—that surrounds visitors with floor-to-ceiling digital art, animated worlds, and multi-sensory narratives. Complementing the technology-driven theatre is a 12,500-square-foot gallery showcasing traditional and mixed-media works, from paintings and sculptures to tactile installations.

With ticketed exhibitions rotating throughout the year and an opening programme featuring immersive experiences of David Hockney and Fernando Botero, IMBA Theatre is essential visiting for art lovers, culture seekers, and families exploring Marina Bay.
