Satay by the Bay is a nostalgic open-air hawker centre nestled within Gardens by the Bay, evoking the charm of Singapore's legendary Satay Club from the 1980s. Set against the waterfront with views of Marina Bay, this 1,000-seat venue serves up the nation's favourite smoky, flame-grilled delights in a breezy, lantern-lit atmosphere.The star is satay itself—skewers of marinated chicken, beef, mutton, and pork belly grilled over charcoal and served with peanut sauce, rice cakes, onions, and cucumber. Beyond satay, stalls dish out chilli crab, BBQ sambal stingray, oyster omelette, golden fragrance crayfish, and local noodles. City Satay from Ghim Moh Market and Boon Tat BBQ Seafood are among the standout vendors.
Open daily from 11:30am till late, with drink stalls starting at 9am. Best visited after sunset when the air fills with grill smoke and Supertree Grove glows in the background. A must-visit for tourists and locals seeking hawker authenticity with a world-class view.

Pleasant place to hang out on a Sunday morning with no crowds and plenty of nature. Most stores are closed but you can get coffee / tea. Reasonably priced given the location and quality is comparable to the average neighbourhood coffee shops.

After hours of exploring gardens by the bay, flower dome and cloud forest its nice to find an open area dining that offers a variety of food catering to different ages and taste buds.
