Desert landscape garden with over 1,000 cacti and succulents.
Sun Pavilion at Gardens by the Bay invites visitors into a dramatic desert landscape in the heart of tropical Singapore. This outdoor themed garden shelters over 1,000 desert plants comprising more than 100 species and varieties, including the towering Mexican Giant Cardon and the charming Turk's Cap cactus.
The glass-enclosed pavilion protects its arid inhabitants from Singapore's tropical rains while allowing sunlight to flood the sandy walkways. Plants sourced from Argentina, Bolivia, Kenya, Madagascar, Mexico, and Tanzania create an authentic drylands ecosystem that offers a striking contrast to the lush greenery found elsewhere in the gardens.
Open daily from 5am to 2am with free admission, Sun Pavilion is a hidden gem perfect for plant lovers, photographers, and anyone seeking a quieter, contemplative corner of Gardens by the Bay.
