current rate shows on display screen for exchange SGD 1 > MYR 3.02 but the staff told me is only for MBS staff.

All good!! Changed 300 SGD to MYR here and got a good exchange rate (was 3.25MYR/SGD where the mid-market was 3.29, thus 1.3% under mid-market rate which I think is very fair).
